BTW, they aren't extreme beleifs... They are fundamental beliefs, however, to many people. It's not like people against gay marriage are shouting "Lynch the......" You know? Many people just believe marriage is a special union between a man and a woman, the start of a nuclear family. And commonly for christians it also has a religious side to it. Yes, people abuse marriage to steal money from old people and other reasons.. But there is nothing people can do to stop it. It's going to happen sometimes. In the case of Gay marriage, some people view it as open mocking of marriage.
@ OP: Yeah, I don't know if she lost because of it.. She shouldn't have been asked the question to begin with though. And then that guy gets pissed? C'mon! He asked the question!
