Yeah, the combos trophy is annoying, but it's not that bad. I remember doing it in one sitting while going through a new game trying for the "saved less than 100 times by Elika" trophy. I remember that no part of the combo can kill the enemy, no part of the combo can initiate a quick-time event (lead to a button-mashing mini-game), and any hit of the combo cannot be reflected by the enemy.
