the thing is, sony titles tend to be at least good in everthing else also >_o.
just look their average metacritic and gamerankings.
sony fails in 3 things.. it was late by one year, 360 titles show more legs, and they don't know how to market it game.
microsoft made an epic trailer for a xBLA game like bloqbuster movie.
ps3 price.
though there is hope GT5 sell itself, cars company actually advertise it, so its hard to sony to screw that up and a 299$ price point by the time it's released.
and that year start will mean nothing when the generation its over... actually it showing already, third party exclusives are almost non existant.
actually all main games are multiplatform now.
