I'd agree John
Halo Series, Gears of War Series and Unreal Tournament frankly are the best most balanced multiplayer games currently on the market. It's why they kick-ass so much.
I'm still sure most people only play the Call of Duty games because the more you play the better weapons you get meaning you can own more people.
Personally I like a level playing field you get on those other games the only real thing in question is skill.
Mind it's cool to see Resident Evil 5 up there, especially since the introduction of the VS Mode; because now it is a ridiculously amazing game. The online aspects are surprisingly fun. Thought they'd be a bit limp wristed but Capcom have hit two for two this past month or so with Street Fighter 4 and Resident Evil 5. Good to see them FINALLY back in fighting form so to speak.
