yeah, i know, but you see my point, MJ may well be more important in the US, but not in the UK, and im guessing youre not gonna claim the US is the world either?

The US is a lot more of the world than the UK at least (bigger population, more money, bigger in size, bigger on a global scale in pretty much every imaginable way). It's not like Freddie's popularity was restricted to just the UK, and MJ just to the US. But on a worldwide scale, Michael Jackson was pretty flippin' popular. Need me to quote figures?
