Because it's the right thing to do? I don't know about anyone else, but if someone says that they find something offensive, then I won't do/say that thing because I don't want to offend them - I assume that most humans live by these rules, too.

 

I think the counter-argument is that people get offended about minor things that don't really matter and inconvenience everyone else because they're being so difficult about it.

@NoJustNo: She does not want to ban gay marriage.  She disapproves of it personally, but thinks others should have the right to choose.  Try to use a little reading comprehension, please.  It is possible to disapprove of something but not think everyone should not be allowed to do/use it at the same time.

 

Listen, I get what you're trying to say. But that doesnt change the fact she's ignorant for not personally wanting equal rights for all people becasue of her religion or ''the way she's raised.''

It just sickens me.
