I think your real question (IMO) is not whether or not to get a PS3, but whether or not to get a PS3 NOW. That is the question I myself have as I am in a similar situation (not a lot of time to play, happy with the offerings on my 360, but interested in playing a few PS3 exclusives).
That being said, I'm holding out for a pricedrop. There has been so many rumors, and so much noise about one happening, that I'm sure one's coming eventually.
