VI I heard was good though I never finished it.
VII story line and battle system with the materia is A+ from me.
IX is not bad though the characters are almost in SD.
I would avoid X-2...I can't get myself to finish it.
Currently loving my Wii x2, Xbox 360 Pro & Xbox 360 Arcade, and Final Fantasy 7 Advent Children Limited "Cloud Black" 160GB PS3
