I focus on games I know I will like.
X-Blades has good moments and bad ones. I picked it to get a change from FPS games.
Yesterday I had a terrible time on one level where I died multiple times due to stupidly falling ...
Today has been much better playing X-Blades.( although it will take me forever to plat it, I'm not sure how some people say it's an easy fast plat).
It does make me try games I woudn't have tried otherwise but I have been nicely surprised on several occasion ( I positively loved NBA 09 The Inside).
There are several games for which I did have to push myself to get the plat though ( the games were fun but the last trophy took forever...) but I will go the extra mile to plat the games I really enjoy.
Heck I'm still working on getting 100% on Re5 + DLC ( got the plat a while ago, still need 1 trophy to get back to 100%).
I don't always play for trophies either although I have skipped a few games I would probably like due to lack of trophy support ( but I have played around 100 hours of Re5 mercenaries and there's no trophy related to that mode).
PS3-Xbox360 gap : 1.5 millions and going up in PS3 favor !
PS3-Wii gap : 20 millions and going down !
