My guess is that when the 360 "easily" blows past 2 million the PS3 will struggle to 6 million and Wii to 12+ million.

 

Compare the 360 and PS3's price. If you were an FF fan who really wanted Final Fantasy, but don;t really have the console yet because you, like many others are waiting for its launch...what would you get? The cheaper one with only FFXIII and Versus, or the one with FFXIII and many other Sqeenix games?

Regardless, I don't care if its released in Japan or not. I don't live there.

Well *touches wood* I am not poverty stricken and money does not always come first, I would want quality and the two huge FF games, not 1 huge FF game and these terrible JRPG made by the SE D teams. Obviously many people in Japan agree with me if you look at the PS3 sales compared to 360.

I used to live in Japan, sadly education came first. :(

Not quite sure where to begin here...by pointing out that one is a spinoff, that Star Ocean and IU aren't terrible in any sense of the word, or that the quality of both FFXIII games will be the exact same on both consoles....

I'll just say that was one of the worst posts you've ever made and leave it at that. Try rephrasing that.

 

It's a spin-off being made by the KH team and looks to me that the game has a budget SO4 could only dream of. SO4 was good........for tremendously disturbing cut scenes and voice acting but that is it, IU was full stop terrible.

You might as well back out now knowing you just compared Versus to SO4 and IU, it was like comparing diamonds to smelly turds. That or you're you just trying to be funny in which case you should not give up the day job. ;)

First things first; point out to me where I compared them and even if I did, point out to me how you know FFvXIII will be better then EITHER of them, and not be just like what FFX-2 was to FFX, or Dirge of Cerberus to FFVII. And no, IU wasn't terrible at all, and Star Ocean wasn't just good, it was very good. I really would like to question how you could know, seeing as you've given me no proof yet as of owning a 360 or ACTUALLY playing either title.

Knowing the comment about "smelly turds" I realize who I'm dealing with here. Continue, but don't pull crap out of my post that didn't happen.

 

You mentioned SO4 and IU, what else was I suppose to assume besides you comparing it to Versus? I took into context what you said, sorry there buddy I used my brain. :(

Then you go off comparing Versus to something like FFX-2 or DOC which is stupid to say the least. Also silly me to call Versus a spin-off, slap across the face for that. The game has nothing in common at all compared to FFXIII besides the crystal mythology, not a single character from FFXIII in Versus.

Once again I used my noggin to figure out that Versus would be better compared to SO4 and IU by looking at the track record of the developers, I know shocking do give yourself a couple months to absorb that information. It would be best for everyone if you would back away from the keyboard before you post more rubbish.

The track record of BioWare didn't let on to Sonic Chronicles crappiness. Though I suppose you missed my point, and that is that you can't compare them before they are out, and especially not if you haven't played them. And the context of my statement was that there are also Star Ocean, IU, and TLR on 360, and if you want to go further Lost Odyssey and Blue Dragon, whereas Versus and WKC are the only JRPGs on PS3 not on 360. If you put it into context, you would have seen that I was talking about jrpgs in general, and using them as examples.

And isn't it a viable comparison? Aren't they both Spin-offs? Aren't all three of them high-budget games? The game has Final Fantasy 13 in its title without being a mothership title, thus, its a spinoff. Explain to me what is hard about this.

Neither KH nor tri-aces games have ever been AAA titles by metacritic's standards. And tri-ace has made games ranging into the upper and middle 80s, and ranging into the upper 60's, just like the Kingdom Hearts games. So explain to me, again, how these two developers instantly decide which games are better then each other.

Try laying off on the insults a little. Arguing is fun, but bear in mind that the internet isn't serious buissness. If you've seen my past arguments, I usually just come to the conclusion that the person I'm talking to feels like they are being backed in a corner whenever they start that crap, and arguing with a cornered animal so to speak, isn't enjoyable anymore.
