The F.A cup is treated as a third priority. The thing im suprised about is how people are shocked to see lesser teams like Everton Cardiff and Portsmouth in the final. Clubs play there 3rd teams like today, 8 changes from Man UTD team. Clubhs consider the League and F.A cups to be a good oppotunity to give yougsters a go.
The F.A cup isnt the competition is once was. A lot of teams in the past regarded it higher than the league. Also it is football. The F.A cup if i remember correctly came beofre the league did they simply just had a knockout tournament. Its sad to see managers picking 3rd strength teams but what can be done? Raise the winnings?
