Isn't that like...a 1.5 increase in sales? And aren't these sorts of things rankings instead of actual sales? And what about the games that one game that had a 4700% increase on Amazon? Does Amazon even indicate anything?

Well, enough questions for now.

This is another misleading sales article from PunchJump.  ( http://news.punchjump.com/article.php?id=7712 )  They continuously write stories mistaking increase in sales rank to increase in sales.

Looking at today's Amazon sales rank Movers ( http://www.amazon.com/gp/movers-and-shakers/videogames/ref=pd_ts_vg_mte ) , Destroy All Humans for the 360 has a sales rank increase of 7,204%!!  What does that mean?  It went from the 2,995th best selling game to the 41nd.  (2,995-41)/41 = 72.04

A game that goes from #3 best seller to #1 seller on Amazon is listed as a 200% increase in sales rank, even though sales may be the same or less. (3-1)/1 = 2.00
