What was your first Resident Evil game? And what is your favorite RE game?

My first Resident evil game was RE1, my favorite is Resident Evil 2. While I loved the setting of RE1 the most, RE2 was just so well done. I loved how after you play through 1 characters route you could play the B route for the 2nd character. Added to the replay of it.
