I get where that comes from, because I know people like that myself.  They think just because they're a bit quicker in class they're better than everyone else.  However, that stereotype is really frustrating.  I'm not super outgoing around people I don't know, and I'm pretty smart.  But, instead of asking themselves why I'm not talking to them, people just assume I'm stuck up and condescending.
