It could be Kingdom Hearts III or another of S-E vast list of franchises, could be Biowares currently untitled next gen game, maybe a Namco bandai game, maybe the peter jackson Halo game, Capcom game maybe (Onimusha is a MIA this generation thus far).
With that breaking the bank comment, Major Nelson also talked alot about "further out into the future". And given Sony's jab at MS lack of 1st party support, there's always the chance that MS has bought a developer. Seems like pretty good timing to me (that Sony would take a jab now, whilst MS clearly does have a weaker set of 1st party devs). |
The one announcemt logic can rule out is KH3, thats not happening until Versus is released and no way would Nomura let someone else touch his baby. Flagship KH3 being made by another team besides the KH team is just not going to happen, don't even need to be working at SE to know that.
A new first party team would be great, my guess is that MS loverboy Itagaki has formed a first party team. Sony would not know about that though so it has to be something else which caused Sony to spout rubbish.
