i started to dislike it with final fantasy 3 on snes

just way too much melodrama, and horrible dialogue

now its exactly the same but with giant cut scenes

its a game beloved by nerds and girls, and girly guys

hence the hate

its the days of our lives with lame spells and goofy hair

>-(

didnt mean to make you sad, just thats my answer to the q

it made me sad too, cus i loved 1 and 2, but i just totally grew out of it.  used to love anime too .. .

i bet if they wanted to, they could make an awesome game, but theyre like NBC sitcoms, the stories and characters all feel the same.  its why im having so much trouble playing the world ends with you . ..

what the hell does anime hafe to do with anything ? i dont even watch it

But at least we both have something in common ,both our SO4 copies are collecting dust.

they are.  but yeh on anime i just mean similar looks, stories characters to a lot of anime in ffs

i just wish they could keep it flowing, like an open but still linear game, where you can talk fight, do shit, at your pace, with no jumbo interruptions cus some guy is sad night looking at the sky or this or that.  you take out the melodrama its fun.

i enjoyed revenant wings on ds, cus i skipped all story and just fought.  fun little rts on ds.  i dont care if two of the characters love each other or nothing, or if they can find a new pet, or if the kids got the worlds power in his arm and has to put it in a waterfall of life in the center of the earth or nothin.

i guess i just find the stories incredibly contrived

Last year's game of the year turned out to be Silent Hill : Shattered Memories (online GOTY was COD 6).  This year's GOTY leader to me is Heavy Rain.
