FFX-2 is not for everyone, in fact, the game is strongly designed for Japanese culture and it doesn't fit in the Western culture like the other FFs, i realized that when i played the J-version...
That's why i get the hate, i personally didn't like the English version at all, but i was more comfortable with the Japanese version since i dig a lot of the J-culture (the opening for example, the concert in English sounds pointless and even Disney-like, but in Japanese sounds like Ayumi or Megumi Hayashibara or Goto Maki-like)...
