| starcraft said: Lol. At the first thing you said. That may be what crappy developers did at the beginning of the development cycle, but it is NOT what happens anymore with any talented developer. At the end of the day the PS3 simply has less memory and less flexibility in how it is used. I agree that this does not mean the game is being developed for the PC. But it DOES mean that it will be as easy or easier to port to the Xbox 360 as it is the PS3. The engine being used is designed for multiplatform games. |
the thing is its being ported from PS3 -> 360 , it was being first optimized for the ps3. and the ps3 its version its months away, actually no 360 it's starting til the english version on the ps3 it's finish its crazy to do all the animations again when its likely when they use the same architecture.
it have the same amount of memory the difference it's how it's used, 256mb of the ps3 are not left unused, but when first developed for the console there is not such problem when to taken care in the software engineering plan.
and even it's easier to port it 360 due it ram architecture being able to eat up whatever it throw at it, a port may delay it since its being doing after the localization.
crystals tools even if it's a multiplatform engine it was first optimized for the ps3 and it was using only 4 Spu's.
