I wouldn't say it's picking steam just yet, NNN2 is a welcome addition, but Magna Carta 2 looks horrible.

 

 

I personally like the 3d suedo anime/manga style art in Magna Carta 2. ( Thank god it isnt another realism clone ).

Also if the battle system is fixed from the first game it will be very good. Thats the only thing that dragged the first game down. And from what the feedback is the battle system is drastically better.

 

Good news for you Selnor they confirmed with Famitsu the battle sytem is completely different. Use Google Translate and you'll see. Some of the information didn't tranlate great but that part was easy to read. It sounds promising imo.
