Leave it as it is. Fans of Resistance are fans because of the frantic gameplay and storyline. Changing it to a TPS changes the pacing of the game, and you won't FEEL like you are playing as Nathan Hale (or whoever you use in part 3).

I agree. I love the story in Resistance.

I really enjoyed Resistance 2, but they should return some of the elements from RFOM (weapon wheel, change the health system, off-line coop, bring back the narrator). Those were the changes people complained most about. It seemed like they took on too much in R2 for their time and resources.

Yes, they really need to bring back the quick select and the health system. I also liked the narration from the first game, though I know that a lot of people didn't. I do love the co-op in Resistance 2, but I would also like to see splitscreen co-op for the campaign along side that.

To be honest, I'd be happiest if they dumped Resistance and either focused on Ratchet and Clank or made a new, BETTER IP. Not an FPS. They could try a TPS there.

However, if they continue with Resistance, it should remain an FPS. It has some good ideas, it just has some really bad ideas to go along with them. It needs tweaking, that's all.

Why do you want them to dump Resistance? I dunno if you knew this, but Insomniac started out with a FPS for the PSOne; Disruptor. It did fairly well, but people seem to have a lot of criticisms of it as well.
I'd love to see them make an open world-ish game; I bet they could make something really cool.
