I remember people calling PS3 fanboys who were upset after the FFXIII announcement, and people laughing at the Japanese guy who broke a ToV disk after hearing it was a timed exclusive.

But we also constantly say to people who ask which console to buy: "Look at the games you want first"

So imagine if you bought an entire console to buy a JRPG, like the Japanese guy, and found out you bought a console, not only for a non-exclusive game, but a gimped down version. Or if I still wanted to get Splinter Cell, and didn't want to get any other game on the PS3 except FFXIII (which was a huge contribution to my purchase of the PS3). Wouldn't you guys feel pissed that you were forced to make a big decision with a large ammount of money, on faulty information, provided by the creators of the games themselves?

There's no reason I should be upset that ME is exclusive to the 360, or 360 owners upset that MGS4 is a PS3 exclusive. It's within the company's right and domain to do so. However, I don't feel like companies have the right to decieve us, and play into the politics of the console wars.

So are people who get upset over reacting and fanboys with a hoarding complex? Or do they have a logical reason to be upset?
