The fact is, anyone under 17 can't buy an M-rated game, unless the store employee screws up or doesn't care.
He should be going after stores, trying to change the consequences for selling M games to minors...even though that's pretty much impossible. But if he's gonna go all crazy about this...that's all he can do...whining to game companies won't do anything at all.

That's exactly what he's been doing. All of the recent (failed) court cases he's been involved with were about states attempting to criminalize the sale of violent video games to minors. The reasons that's a problem are a whole other debate, though.
