No, it would probably suck as hell. as a movie MGS would look like a weird mix of super hero movie and war drama with an old geriatric hero doing things no one at that age posibly could. besides how much story they would have to cut out to fit in a single movie(or trilogy)?
even best game stories can easily suck as movies cause they were written for games from the start and naturally won't fit for the movie - movies and games have different pace.
