Actually Mike, in certain cases opinions are used as a foundation for assumptions, however they aren't assumptions that are conclusive and instead are used to gather an hypothesis.
That could considered a good opinion because of it's productive manner and unbiased regardless of execution.
Oop's I'm wrong; I just remembered Social-Darwinism.
