It actually depends on what area you live in, what city, etc. as well.
For example, I live in New York City. Supposedly, this is THE worst area for single women looking for guys.
Why?
Because the ration of women to men is 5:1. That means that for every man, they have at least 5 different women to look forward to. Because of this high ratio, women everywhere in this city all try to look as young and sexy as possible to get the few guys that are available in this city. Great for us guys, bad for the ladies competing for the attention.
The biological factor of course also plays a role as well.
