Sure, lots of people have looked for it and never found it. Many more think it's just a myth.
In fact a landmass the size Plato predicted did in fact sink at the time period predicted, ~9000 BC. The lightly colored land area from the picture below was all dry land before that time. When the last ice age ended and the glaciers melted, the oceans rose.
It's worth a read, and the author isn't a nut case. He taught nuclear physics at a Braziilian univeristy before he passed away a few years ago.
