well rockstars sort of exhibit some of those self confident "alpha male" qualities that women seem to find attractive: assertive, knows what he likes, sort of does his own thing and doesn't care what other people think, etc. etc.
They seem to also overlook the jerky abusive part about some of those rockstar types as well.
