Yep you can be too nice. Several of my mates have been the "nice" guys before and the few relationships they got when they functioned in that capacity were short lived and a waste of time.
Heck I was the "nice" guy once. Same result. I don't even know why I was the nice guy during that time in my life as generally I'm a tool in real life lol.
