If you realized you were spending more money they you were making, would you solve that problem by increasing your expenses?
We now have a budget of 3.5 trillion. We will collect under 2 trillion. Obama's administration has yet to explain how this is sustainable. When asked, he says we will cross that bridge when we get there. What kind of answer is that?
As a libertarian, the only thing that outrages me is that people didn't start getting pissed 5-6 years ago. Bush started spending far more money then he should, and Americans should have been screaming then (I was).
The question should be why did it take so long, not why are they doing it.
