According to a message board post on toohuman.net, a sequel to the Xbox 360 exclusive, Too Human, is currently in development. It seems that despite the mixed-reactions to the original, the trilogy will continue.

The post also suggests that such sequels will tout a 4 player co-operative mode – a feature that was initially hinted-at but never delivered. Forum member “AsherCrestfalen” cites “a bunch of Canadian and British gaming magazines” as their source. Apparently, engine woes are the reason for the originally intended 4 player co-op being halved to just 2 players.

Also, downloadable content for Too Human is supposedly set to be released by the fall of this year with the intention of keeping players engaged until the eventual release of a sequel.

Although we can’t say exactly what the content might be, new weapons, armour and other collectable goodies are virtually a given, and we can’t see why developer Silicon Knights wouldn't provide new levels, either.

If true, Too Human fans may finally have something to cheer about.

And since this isn't the most reliable source, we'll place this under the status of 'rumour'.

this is awesome i loved the first one.....
