I really hope it is early 2009. Dont think SE have the guts to release the game that late specially if the japanese get the game that early. They have the guts but it would not be financially good for them. If they do that they might have hard to release two main titles this generation.

It would be great if the world worked like that, but SE traditionally has at least a 6 month turn around between the Japanese release and the American localization of FF games.  It may be signifficantly longer this time as well due to the fact that this is the first time they have worked with the PS3 hardware.  They don't even have the American voice actors hired yet.  So yeah, it's at least a Q3 09 release for America.  Europe usually gets the game 4-6 months after America, so 2010 for them is most likely.
