Sorry nope. While I agree that the iPhone/Touch are viable for gaming they are not gaming devices. This is similiar in nature to a PC. The average PC buyer buys the PC for other than non gaming purposes and ends up including gaming as a part of the others package. The PC is a strong gaming powerhouse because PC have been out longer and are well established.

Handheld gaming devices are already out. So while the iDevice will be fine for gaming they are not in a compitive market. However the DSi and likely DSi2 will be more comparable to the iTouch and in a somewhat compitive market than the iDevice moving into gaming.



Squilliam: On Vgcharts its a commonly accepted practice to twist the bounds of plausibility in order to support your argument or agenda so I think its pretty cool that this gives me the precedent to say whatever I damn well please.
