How many copies were sold?

I have no idea!

While I don't have direct figures for Crash, Koi Pond has been downloaded about 900 000 times and it is below Crahs in the list, so that gives you some idea. It's been downloaded propably somewhere around one million times. I don't know if the price has changed a lot over time, but assuming it has been the same $5.99 all the time and assuming one million sales, it nets about $4.2 million after the Apple cut. That's gotta be some serious return on investment for them!

 Thanks for  adding perspective. :)

At  least games for the iphone appear reasonably priced!

You're welcome :)

The games are usually very reasonably prices, the most expensive ones being $9.99 but the great majority is less than 5 dollars. That is both good and bad, because for the most part you get what you pay for. And sales don't always reflect the quality of the game: Crash is apparently not good, based on the user reviews. For some reason it has still sold well, but I'd rather see a good game sell great and reward those who spend the time to make and polish their games to the max.
