FFXIII represents all the things that JRPG fans got bored of, full of meaningless anachronisms and things that used to impress the 15 year old PSX owners playing FFVII back in the day.

Mass Effect represents all the brave steps that Western Game Industry has taken towards the direction of making better abd better RPGs.
