The class is optional if you don´t want to do it you can skip it.Also the religion that they teach depends on the majority of pupil´s religion so if the majority were buddhist then they will teach buddhism.
PS:Soriku is God for real there is no other explanation no normal human could be able to post that much is either God or 30 year old living in parent´s basement.I´m rooting for the first choice.
