"Console gamer, may I present you my PC." It's great that consoles are online and all, but at the same time it seems an awfully easy way to rush things out the door as you can always just patch the game when bugs arise, or to implement features that were cut due to publishing schedules. PC gamers have had to endure patches all their lives, and one of the reasons I love console gaming is because you didn't have to put up with patches in the past - you bought the game knowing it would simply work as intended. Those were the good ol' days. Oh well, such is the price of progress I guess... |
well.. do you want games that have horrid lag and glitchs online and not be able to have them fixed? I dont think so. |
Dude, what I said is nothing against the PS3 per se, but the general attitude in the industry as a whole. No need to get so defensive! Surely you also remember even last generation you didn't have to patch your games, correct? Why can't it be the same this generation?
But, in reply to your comment: well... I would much, much rather not have horrid lag and glitches online in the first place. Who wants to buy something broken anyhow? I didn't think so.
