Good, the thought of GM, Ford, and Chrysler going back to the government every few months for more money is ridiculous. Nothing is too big to fail. Let the crap companies die and let newer, better, and more efficient companies replace them. I had an old Dodge Intrepid for my first car and it was pretty much a death trap (would go into neutral while in drive). I never knew if it would stay in drive while pulling out onto a road or what. I went to Honda for a Civic (EX, Manual) and I have never had a problem with it yet. If they would make reliable, fuel efficient, and nice looking vehicles then the USA companies wouldn't be in this mess. I heard Ford reliability was going up from Consumer Reports but that really isn't saying too much. Honda, Subaru, and Toyota make pretty damn reliable cars according to Consumer Reports.
