hum first of... I finished GOW in an afternoon in hardcore mode solo... so not really long either...... and probably shorter than halo as I have played it for more than 4 hours in heroic and I'm not half way through.... and I'm sorry if you think GOW has more WOW graphic and animation you don' know anything about what you are talking about... sure it's a question of taste.... but GOW is definitely under halo technically in terms of graphic animation and physics.... no doubt about it.... you have way more depth in halo the animation of the characters are at least as good and most of the time better and you have tons of enemies on screen at the same time... with a good AI without talking about your allies.... all that at a good frame rate.... add to that the faster paced style of halo 3 the fact that you have more various element and textures than GOW, more destructible or moving objects (none in GOW the entire decor is in Titanium).... you can't objectively say GOW is better... you can say you prefer GOW though..... but not that it's better it's not true....
and btw I have more trouble dealing with two hunters in heroic than a berzeker in hardcore..... but the worst it's the pissed big daddy in Bioshock that thing stress me out like crazy lol :D
oh and I love all three GOW, Bioshock, Halo 3, I just wanted to open your eyes.... after that it's a question of taste... I prefer FPS than TPS so the choice is easy for me... and the story of halo is no comparison to GOW (if we can call that a story in GOW)..... I'll buy GOW anyway though lol :P
