St. Louis Rams

It has been a rough couple of years.

You've got the best defensive coordinator in the world as your coach now, and getting OT Jason Smith out of the draft as the second overall pick will do wonders for protecting Marc Bulger. You guys might be on the upside. I'll be rooting for you as I want to support Spagnuolo in his new venture.

@Bursche-I agree it's smart for the Chiefs to keep him. They finally have a team I can personally say might be a surprise danger like the Dolphins and Falcons were last year. I have a feeling they're going to the playoffs this year. Matt Cassel, Mike Vrabel, Tony Gonzalez, Aaron Curry out of the draft(damn near a definite at this point), Zack Thomas and Larry Johnson make for a formidable bunch of guys.

I dont think they'll make it to the playoffs. Cassel will prove that he was a one year wonder. And you forgot Dwayne Bowe, who is on the upside more so than most of the washed up players you put on there. Aaron Curry will do great, especially under Zack Thomas' leadership but Vrabel is nearing the end and Thomas is already there. LJ is done as far as I can see but Tony G. will do wonders again. Thigpen will probably start a few games this year. They'll be 3rd, or 2nd, in the division but nothing better.

Well Oakland is a mess and even grabbing Michael Crabtree out of the draft isn't going to change that. Denver is completely iffy at this point at how well they can play together. The Chargers are still the Chargers, but they managed to almost completely bust last year, so I don't have a lot of faith in them any longer. So yeah, I think the Chiefs can take the division. We can chalk it up to the weakness of that particular division, but a win is a win.

I also have more faith in some of those old guys and Matt Cassel than you do. Even if their main purpose is to provide leadership, they can still be invaluable to a team. Look at Ray Lewis. If you want to, we can make this official come around the time the Prediction League starts up again. I wouldn't mind taking that bet with you.
