If the 360 had never been released and promoted in Japan, would FFXIII, Devil may cry, street fighter, lost planet etc etc etc have been released on the 360? Possibly not. That would have hurt the 360 sales the wolrd over not just in Japan. |
You list 3 Capcom games there. Capcom were very proactive with the 360, didnt need to be paid off, and it has worked out well for them. FF XIII? Very early days there.. Let's see shall we? Now, you failed to mention the long list of failures. Where to start? Star Ocean 4? Foothold in Japan? Hardware and software is getting owned. A funny thing. I popped into my local Bic Camera the other day. Maybe first time in a month. All the standard 360 software racks had been replaced with fancy looking MS funded green plastic illuminated casing! Just as well MS know how best to impress Japanese gamers!
