Well it could not have sold less on ps360.

Already stated, and it wasn't funny the first time either.

Facts aren't supposed to be funny.

Trolling is, though.

Facts aren't trolling, even if you don't like them.

Here are the facts:

1. I make a thread where I satirize the treatment of MadWorld by applying absolutely no backup to anything I say and claiming it as fact. This is meant to show off how nonsensical such behavior is.

2. You proceed to do that very thing yourself.

The only thing we can deduce from this is that you're trolling. Or you didn't read the OP. Either way, I'll be regarding it as trolling until you back up your statements, and I think most other people will too.

So you are saying that madworld would do LESS than 170k on PS360? How about you back that up?

Sorry bud - The burden of evidence is on you since you made the original claim. Now, cough it up. What have you got?

All I said that madworld could not do less on PS360. That is 2 platforms combined. I can't think of a game with that much internet hype on PS360 that has done less than 170k. If you consider the market share of PS360, it is bigger than what wii has. Also the demographics are generally more favourable to violent games than the demographics on wii.

The thing here is, 170k isn't an absolute. This number is going to keep growing. 170k isn't close to being MadWorld's full sales tally - Try atleast double that. Also, internet hype is really meaningless unless there's "real hype" as well. When thinking of PS360 games that had internet hype, well, they had "real hype" too. Killzone 2 had posters up here in Stockholm anyway, so did Mirror's Edge, GTA4, most all games on PS360 that have gotten any internet hype have gotten regular hype as well. With the Wii, it isn't so. There's no doubt more people on the street will have a clue what Mirror's Edge is, rather than No More Heroes (though most probably won't know either). Internet hype means very little unless it gets backed up by regular hype, and MadWorld wouldn't magically be getting regular hype if it was on a different console.

That might be the case with the wii, but I am quite certain that PS360 demographics are more familiar with internet hype than wii demographics.

Anyway, as far as I know madworld got some "real hype" too. Wasn't there even some weird bodyparts or something laying on the street as an ad? :P
