My thoughts after watching it twice:
- It seems like every character feels very different in battle. Snow is very slow and Lightning is fast and moves a lot.
- The gameplay looks good overall it's very action paced yet still turnbased.
- The camera movement is great especially when casting powerfull spells (firaga)
- Lighting effects in the game are probably the best ever seen. Certainly the best outside of the FPS genre.
- I like how the field is done: something always moves on the horizon, if feels very natural.
What I didnt like is how Lightning's hairs are done, and how the demo was very linear, just corridors.
