Seriously though, youre right but i fear that the snowball may have been pushed off the hill and the 3rd party support will continue to be what we have been seeing. (not necessarily a bad thing as far as sales go).

Hehe I have no fear of that, but I agree the Wii could use a sim racer.  Not for me, since I don't really play sim racers (Mario Kart is about the closest thing to racing I enjoy), but to add some more diversity to the software lineup.
