Sony: Microsoft “writes cheques” for games thanks to first-party line-up insecurity

Microsoft buys games, Sony buys developers. Same end result really, except MS is getting the stuff from the big devs that Sony couldn't afford to buy straight-out.

Although saying they have THE BEST first-party titles is sheer rubbish, seeing as how Nintendo sort-of built a complete empire almost solely on first-party offerings.
