You failed to mention the lack of success has much to do with leaving Mario out. They should have got rid of the blood... maybe have rainbows and flowers fly out instead. I'm also hearing there isn't minigames.

Sega calling the sales "encouraging" does not directly equate to "we made money". Did they make another statement on the topic that was more explicit, or is this just extrapolation of a single statement?

As above, Cancerous tumour reducing in size is encouraging. Doesnt mean it is a success yet.
