Existance of a supernatural creature or otherwise presence can be proven. It's another thing entirely in what extent it's presented and for how long it's considered supernatural.
What we have today as the laws of nature and what we have as technology wouldn't seem like anything natural to a man from some centuries ago. We can see nature in much more detail than before.
Plenty of holy texts have their god(s) interracting with humans, so either the texts are wrong and by that confirmed flawed, or an existing god can be seen, heard, observed, proven etc.
