The hardware numbers on VGChartz are close to the mark most times. Frequently game sales on VGChartz are not so close to the official sales numbers: either over tracked or under tracked. Hardware shipment numbers are widely available to the public and the sales numbers will always be less than shipment numbers. |
That's what I think is quite possible! It would make a lot of sence to do so...
