Thats not true either. Both the 360 and PS3 support 1080P output via component. Most TVs however still dont. Some do, but most dont. The difference is in the sharpness. Component is softer and sometimes more appealing to people because that is what they are used to. You do however lose PQ due to the A/D conversion. DVI and HDMI are very similar, most noticable difference tody would be no audio on DVI. There are a lot more features with HDMI, some of which PQ related that the PS3 is ready for, but TVs need to catch up first.
