Hmmmmmm.

So your saying that you saw coming the following:

(MAJOR SPOILERS)

That Raven was going to kidnap Estelle?

That Alexei was behind everything?

That Raven was dead?

That Alexei was using Heracles as a decoy?

That the Shrine of Zaude was actually a world wide barrier blastia holding back the Adephagos?

That Sodia was going to stab Yuri?

Tales of Vesperia to me was the least predictable out of the tales games i've played though it did have it's moments.

Half of that was after part 2.

I knew Raven must have taken part in the war. And he really isn't dead. The blastia thing was nice though.

I did think he was going to end working with the bad guys when he starting acting strange.

I thought that Zaude wasn't going to work and things were actually going to get worse.

And yes, it was the most predictable thing when Sodia ran towards Yuri. She has been trying to take him out through the course of the entire game! If he would have actually died, then that would have been something!

So you telling me you knew it was going to happen at that moment? Thats impossible. By the time you see Sodia she would have already stabed Yuri. And you knew he was going to join the bad guy but you did not see Raven kidnapping Estelle. And you never exactly knew what was going to happen at the Shrine of Zaude you just knew something bas was going to happen. And what did knowing that Raven was apart of the Great War have to do with finding out that he died? Also your revealing spoilers. Can you at least put a spoiler warning?

Better?

You get a glimspe of Sodia after defeating Alexei. And knowing that Raven fought in that war made the issues of his blastia body pretty understandable.

You see that something is going to happen (Zaude was going to make things worse for the world and the Adephagos problem) so when something does happen, you aren't surprised.

A good example of a plot twist is in Star Ocean when you end up on earth of 1957. That was cool and unexpected.

You can compare that Star Ocean twist with when you end up in Yormgen. And i never saw Sodia after you defeated Alexe until Sodia stab Yuri. Also finding out Raven took part in the Great War may have made it understandable but not predictable. Also Part 3 starts after you kill Alexei so all the stuff i brought up was apart of part 2.

Yormgen was good. I'm not commenting on that.

And the Sodia stab was after you fought Alexei.

And also, something I like for my RPGs is to either surprise with their stories or keep me me very entertained. I'm saying for a large middle portion of the game, Vesperia didn't do that for me.

Then i guess you did not enjoy VC's story all the way through. VC overall had a great story but it got predictable at times.
