I hate this half priced crap that PS3 fanboys always use. SONY decided to load the PS3 with features like Online and Wifi and HDD while MS gives you the option. So its SONYs fault. I love how for the PS2 AMericas was huge region now the PS3 is still less that half of 360.
And now the gap has been reduced to only being outsold by 50k. YEA!!! Only 8 660 000 consoles behind in Americas. PS3 FTW!!!!

dude you need to really wake up from your MS trip. noone said it wasnt sonys fault but price is definatly a factor. if it werent than the ps3 would be constantly outselling the 360 week in week out like it was doing handily (by a wider margin than the 360 is doing right now) last year before 360 recieved a price reduction. and those options you are talking about arent for the best intrest to the consumer but a way for MS to nickle and dime them when they find out they need that extra shit to play online or not go through batteries so often

Dude the 360 has a play and charge kit that you can buy for $20 and it lasted me for 2 and a half years, all I had to do was buy another battery after the first one died and it only cost me $10 bucks.
Second all those additions you are talking about, all I see is wi fi, if you buy the arcade now, you can get a 60gig harddrive, an ethernet cable and an HD component cable and a headset for 99 dollars, all the things that come in the pro unit.
If you buy the pro unit you have everything you need for 299, not everybody uses wifi.
and people never mention the things the PS3 does not come with, (HD component cables, a headset or an ethernet cable) not every one have a wireless adapter, if you don't you need to either buy a wireless adapter or buy an ethernet cable, all that is worth another 80- 100 bucks extra, so if you want to go online PS3 is going to cost you 480 - 500 dollars.
While the 360 is going to cost you 400 if you need wifi, if you don't 360 costs you 299.
